Kate Mason is a contemporary artist whose vibrant, nature-inspired paintings are all about the evocative effect that colour can bring into a space. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, places she’s travelled and the changing seasons around her home in Hertfordshire and the West Country, her work is full of energy, warmth and positivity.
Kate’s paintings are created to spark calm, creativity, and connection in the everyday. Her intuitive approach to colour and texture brings a fresh, emotional quality to each piece—designed to lift the mood of a room and put a smile on the faces of the people in it.
Outside the studio, Kate juggles a lively household, running a sports executive search company with her husband, parenting three adult children and looking after three cats and chickens. She’s a regular at the local swimming pool, a lover of classic cars (still dreaming of buying a Citroën CX Familale, which was her first car back in the 80’s), and always planning her next travel adventure.
